Boozhoo, aanii! I am an Anishinaabe kwe from Treaty 9. I am from the Bear Clan and I grew up in Northwestern Ontario. After completing my undergraduate degree in Communication and Media Studies, as well as a Master of Arts in Communication, I knew my passion was advocacy, and including Indigenous peoples perspectives into my work. My consulting business offers a wide array of services that incorporate lived experiences, and formal education; stemming from the "two-eyed seeing" worldview. If you require a consultant or host for your individual, communities, or organizations needs, I offer these services:
- Report writing based on contractual obligations. My most recent project was a federal contract focused on First Nations peoples experiences with flooding, and flood risk mitigation.
- Guest speaker at events related to Indigenous women, people and LGBTQQIA+ peoples. Past titles of talks include, The Inherent Ongoing Prosperity of Indigenous Kinship (2021) Gender Symposium on Queering Decolonization in the Workplace: LGBTQQIA+, gender, and Indigenous identity. - Strategic advising and liaison services related to community projects (Indigenous relations, economic development, infrastruture, security, clean renewable energy, health and wellness).
